FUNDRAISING
Hillcrest Elementary PTA is a non-profit organization, our PTA relies on fundraising and donations from our generous community. Since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible.
We use the money collected through fundraising and donations to pay for special programs and events that we have throughout the school year. We also use funds to purchase equipment or supplies needed to make Hillcrest a better school for our kids.
Fundraising can include fun-runs, auctions, employer matching fund programs, read-a-thon as well as “reward shopping” – which is where our PTA earns money with specific purchases you make at certain stores. We have put together a list of all our Fundraising Programs and ask you to please join us in our efforts to raise money for our students.

Donations
Anyone can donate - you don't have to have a child that goes to our school. You don't even have to live in the Lake Stevens area. All donations are tax-deductible and go towards things like field-trips, assemblies, staff appreciation, teacher grants, new equipment and needed supplies. Our online donation page is currently under construction, but you will have the ability to make secure online donations soon.
Note: If you are considering making a donation, your donation could even be doubled if your employer has an Employer Matching Fund Program.
Employer Matching Funds
This program helps facilitate the matching of monetary donations made to Hillcrest Elementary PTA by corporate employers who provide the benefit to their employees. For qualifying employees it's a way to double up their donations and help provide even more support to the students at Hillcrest Elementary. Parents, Grandparents and extended family and community members can double the difference they make by using this program. Learn More »
Fred Meyer Community Rewards
Fred Meyer customers can now link their Rewards Card to Hillcrest Elementary PTA. Customers will continue to receive Rewards Points, Rebates and Fuel Points. At the end of each quarter, Fred Meyer will make a donation to participating nonprofits based on the accumulated spending of the Rewards customers linked to each nonprofit. Learn More »
FunRun
This is a fitness-based fundraiser for grades K-5. It is a lot of fun and requires volunteers to help cheer on the runners, count laps, and hand out water. Learn More »
