The definition of a committee is a group of people appointed for a specific task. Hillcrest Elementary PTA puts together volunteer committees for our activities and events.

 

Each of these committees has a committee chair, which serves as the primary contact for the group. They also recruit volunteers and set the agenda to complete tasks. The committee chair also reports the status and outcome of their group back to the PTA Board.

 

At our first General PTA Meeting of the year, we are interested in hearing what types of new programs and events you would like to see at Hillcrest Elementary. We hope you can join us as committees will only form with active participation. Remember, anyone is invited and you do not have to be a PTA member.
