Who can join?
PTA is not strictly for the parents of children that attend Hillcrest Elementary. Relatives, teachers and neighbors are all welcome and encouraged to join our PTA organization. Joining the PTA does not require you to attend meetings or volunteer, but if you have the time to spare – we would love to meet you.
What are the benefits of becoming a PTA member?
The number one reason to join the PTA is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help Hillcrest Elementary. Once you become a member you have voting rights, which means your vote helps determine how PTA funds are used. You also receive a Washington State PTA membership card that allows you to take advantage of benefits from the National PTA as well as the Washington State PTA. Membership cards are valid until the end of the school year.

1. ONLINE MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION
The easiest way to join, is from your mobile phone or desktop. We now have a secure online website, with a convenient short url, that you can either type into a browser window or simply click on this link: https://bit.ly/2IZALOy. Then hit the teal "Sign Me Up!" button to create an account and pay online.
PLEASE NOTE: Sponsoring membership for an individual is currently not available online, but if you are interested in paying for a staff member or another family's PTA membership, you can fill out a printable membership form, provide us with the new member's information, and return the completed form to your child's teacher via your child's take-home folder or return it to the front desk, along with a check payable to Hillcrest PTA.

2. PRINTED PTA MEMBERSHIP FORM
If you'd rather not pay online, you can pick up a PTA Membership form which can be found in the black document holder hanging in the Hillcrest Lobby. Just fill out the form and return it, along with a check payable to Hillcrest PTA. You can return these items to your child's teacher via your child's take-home folder or you can turn it in to the front desk.
If you have a printer at home, you can also download our Hillcrest PTA Membership Form (PDF). All you have to do is print it out, fill in your information, and return the form & check to your child's teacher or Hillcrest's front desk.
