Happy Children

The mission of the Hillcrest Elementary PTA is to be a voice for our children, a partner with our school, and a resource for our families and community. We do this by promoting open communication and understanding between parents and staff of Hillcrest Elementary School. Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential.

Our Goals

PTA Goals for the 2023-2024 school year:

  • Create an inclusive organization that welcomes all cultures, family structures (single, blended, etc.), and abilities to join in our efforts.

  • Provide support for cultural and educational programs and events at Hillcrest Elementary.

  • Provide social activities to encourage community spirit and togetherness.

  • Encourage and organize volunteer support for school and PTA programs and events.

  • Spark interest, involvement, and understanding of our local PTA. Build social awareness of the things we do for our students, families, and staff at Hillcrest Elementary.

  • Discover the needs and interests of our school community by listening to your voice (even if you are not a PTA member) and develop a plan to bring necessary programs to life. Conduct purposeful fundraising, procure business sponsorships and donations to support our programs and events at Hillcrest Elementary.

  • Inform everyone that even non-pta members are invited to share their ideas and concerns at our general meetings, but only members have a right to vote on final business decisions.

  • Remind current members that their vote determines how funds are spent.
