Hello! My name is Kim Basler and I am your 2023-24 Hillcrest President. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and we have two sons. Colt (10yrs) is in 5th grade for the 2023-24 school year and Hunter (8yrs) is in 3rd grade for the 2023-2024 school year.  My Husband Kyle works at Amazon and I work for a Real Estate Technology Company as a Sales Manager. In our “free” time we enjoy working out, camping and vacationing with our family. I am looking forward to helping create an environment where collaboration, creativity and excitement are top priority!

Hi, my name is Keri Oxner and I am your Hillcrest Hawks PTA Vice president for the 2023-2024 school year. I am currently a stay at home mom to my amazing girls, Hadley and Piper. Hadley is in 3rd grade this year and Piper is in Kindergarten. Before becoming a sahm I was an elementary school teacher for 8 years. My husband, Ryan, and I have lived in Lake Stevens for the past 11 years and love it here. Ryan is a Dean of Students at an elementary school. Our family loves the outdoors, going for walks, and just being together. I look forward to being more involved at Hillcrest and helping how I can. I am excited for the year ahead.

Hi my name is Tammy and I am your 2023-2024 Interim Hillcrest PTA Secretary. I have an 11 year old daughter (Emma) and a 7 year old son (Cameron). I met my husband, Tom, 17 years ago while we were both living in Hawaii and finally decided to move to Lake Stevens in 2018. I grew up in British Columbia and now work part time as a Registered Nurse on the Acute Rehab Unit. I enjoy being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family, friends and our dogs. I also love bingewatching Netflix when I get carried away with a series. Being a member of the PTA has been a rewarding learning experience. With my oldest going to middle school this year, I hope to devote time at her new school. However, I am happy to continue to serve as the PTA secretary until the position gets filled.

Hi there, my name is Lisa Nilsen and I am your Treasurer for the 2023-2024 school year. Currently we have one child in Hillcrest, James in 2nd Grade, and a second son who will be joining Hillcrest Elementary. I am a local real estate agent and my husband, Jared, is a monitor tech at UW and together we love serving our community. My husband and I moved to Lake Stevens several years ago and one of the things that brought us here was the great school system.  I am so excited to be a part of this PTA and help our students, teachers, admin, and families have a great year.
