Hello! My name is Kim Basler and I am your 2022-23 Hillcrest President. My husband and I have been married for 11 years and we have two sons. Colt (9yrs) is in 4th grade for the 2022-23 school year and Hunter (7yrs) is in 2nd grade for the 2022-2023 school year.  My Husband Kyle works at Amazon and I work for a Real Estate Technology Company as a Sales Manager. In our “free” time we enjoy working out, camping and vacationing with our family. I am looking forward to helping create an environment where collaboration, creativity and excitement are top priority!

Hi, my name is Keri Oxner and I am your new Hillcrest Hawks PTA Vice president for the 2022-2023 school year. I am currently a stay at home mom to my amazing girls, Hadley and Piper. Hadley is in 2nd grade this year and Piper is in pre-k. Before becoming a sahm I was an elementary school teacher for 8 years. My husband, Ryan, and I have lived in Lake Stevens for the past 10 years and love it here. Ryan is a Dean of Students at an elementary school. Our family loves the outdoors, going for walks, and just being together. I look forward to being more involved at Hillcrest and helping how I can. I am excited for the year ahead.

Hi my name is Tammy and I am your 2022-2023 Hillcrest PTA Secretary. I have a 10 year old
daughter (Emma) and a 6 year old son (Cameron) who both attend Hillcrest Elementary. I met my husband, Tom, 16 years ago while we were both living in Hawaii and finally decided to move to Lake Stevens in 2018. I grew up in British Columbia and now work part time as a Registered Nurse on the Acute Rehab Unit. I enjoy being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family, friends and our dogs. I also love bingewatching Netflix when I get carried away with a series. Being a member of the PTA has been a rewarding learning experience and I am happy to continue my efforts again this year.

Hello! My name is Sarah & I am your 2022/2023 Hillcrest PTA co-treasurer. I have 3 daughters, Mia who is in 6th grade, Emma who is in 1st grade, & Stella who is in preschool & will be a Hillcrest Hawk in no time just like her big sisters! I was born and raised in Olympia, WA and work as a Pharmacy Technician. My husband who was born and raised in Everett, WA works for a local construction company as a General Forman! We have lived in Lake Stevens for about 9 years now & we absolutely love the community here! My family loves anything & everything outdoors and enjoys watching and participating in all sports! I am excited to have the opportunity to be involved in this year’s PTA & look forward to helping teachers, students, and families have a great & successful school year!

LISA NILSEN

Hi there, my name is Lisa Nilsen and I am one of your co-treasures for the 2021-2022 school year. Currently we have one child in Hillcrest, James in 1st Grade, and a second son who will be joining Hillcrest Elementary next year. I am a local real estate agent and my husband, Jared, is a monitor tech at UW and together we love serving our community. My husband and I moved to Lake Stevens several years ago and one of the things that brought us here was the great school system.  I am so excited to be a part of this PTA and help our students, teachers, admin, and families have a great year.
